How Transitions and Effects Were Organized in the Cut Page Before
In the Cut Page, when you open the Transitions or Effects panel at the top, all third party plugins and transitions were dumped into one big flat list. There was no category structure. So if you had the Seamless Transition Pack from the DaVinci Resolve iPad Masterclass installed, all of those transitions would just appear in one long unsorted list.
How It Worked on the Edit Page (and Now Also the Cut Page)

On the Edit Page, the transitions and effects were always properly organized by category. For example, if you open Effects and go to Video Transitions, third party plugins like Motion VFX or the Phoenix Transition Pack from the Masterclass show up in their own named groups: Fading Transitions, Glitch Transitions, Kaleidoscope, Light Leaks, Pan Transitions and so on. That organization made it much faster to find what you need.
What Changed: Categories Now Appear in the Cut Page Too
With this update, the Cut Page now shows the same category grouping that the Edit Page had all along. Your third party transitions and effects are now organized into their proper groups, so you can find them just as easily in the Cut Page as on the Edit Page.

The same applies to effects. If you have third party effects installed, like callout tools from Motion VFX for example, they now appear grouped in the Cut Page effects panel. You can preview any of them by hovering over them, and then drag and drop them directly onto your clips in the Timeline.
