In this article/video i will show you how you can export audio transcriptions with speaker detection and time codes in DaVinci Resolve for iPad. This is one of the new features that came with Version 20 and it makes working with transcriptions so much better.

How to export audio transcriptions with speaker and time code in DaVinci Resolve iPad
First go to your Media Pool and select the clip you want to transcribe. Then go to AI Tools and select Audio Transcription and then Transcribe Audio.
How to use speaker detection in DaVinci Resolve iPad
Before you transcribe, make sure to check “Use Speaker Detection”. This is especially useful if you have multiple speakers, for example in a podcast. DaVinci Resolve will then identify and label the different speakers in your transcription.
Export the transcription file with time codes and speakers
Now here is the new part. When you export this transcription file, the exported file will now include the time codes and the speaker labels. So you can see exactly which speaker said what and at which time code. If your transcription is longer you will have more time codes and more speakers listed in the file.
