What is the Magnetic Timeline?

The idea of the magnetic timeline is, that you can faster create a raw cut from your Video. The whole concept of the CUT PAGE is a faster way of creating the first draft, or rough cut. This is also the reason the Cut Page does not have any zoom in or zoom out capabilities. Because every click to zoom out or in will cost you time in the long run.

On the Desktop Version the Cut Page and the Edit Page both serve a specific task. The traditional editing where everything stays on the Timeline as it is. So when you delete something in the middle it creates a gap. That was always reserved for the Edit Page. But since the iPad Version officially only comes with the Cut Page, how can we edit traditionally?

Of course you can still open the Edit Page, and most of the time i work in the Edit Page.
