DaVinci Resolve for the iPad supports up to 4 Playheads at the same time in the same Timeline. This is a feature you can use in the Color Page. I already made a tutorial about that, so read this one first here. Today this is Part 2. Because you can show all 4 Playhead Positions in a Split Screen View in your Viewer. How? Let me show you

How to create a Split Screen View of all your Playheads in DVR iPad

In this example i use 4 different Playheads at the same time and i can see all Positions in the Timeline in the Split Screen View in the Viewer.

Open the Shortcuts Menu “Option + Command + K” and search for Playhead. Scroll down until you see View, Split Screen and give Playheads a shortcut.

Hover with the pointer over the viewer and use the shortcut.

You will see as many split screen windows depending on how many playheads you currently have activated in the Timeline.

How to use multiple Playheads in the Edit Page of DaVinci Resolve for iPad?

To use the different Playheads also in the Edit Page, select the Playhead you want to activate first in the Color Page. In my example i use Playhead B.

Then go to the Edit Page and you will see the Position of Playhead B. It does not show the other Playheads, but if you change the position it will change the Position of Playhead B. If you go back to the Color Page and activate a different Playhead, then you will see that position in the Edit Page.

So it kind of works. The only thing that is missing in the Edit Page is that you see the other Playheads not selected (in grey color). But the behaviour is the same. After you activated a Playhead in the Color Page you can control that Playhead even in the Edit Page.
