How To RGB MIXER in DaVinci Resolve iPad

Where do we find the RGB Mixer in the DaVinci Resolve iPad Version? And how do we use the RGB Mixer to Color Correct our Video in the Color Page of DaVinci Resolve. In this article i will show you where you can find it and how to use it. Have fun learning.

[Video] How To RGB MIXER in DaVinci Resolve iPad

Does the RGB Mixer exist in the iPad Version of DaVinci Resolve?

In the Color Page right click on the first icon on the left and you will see some hidden features. Like the RGB Mixer.

Then the RGB Mixer will open and this is how it looks.

How does the RGB Mixer work?

If i increase the red output the images becomes more red and you can also see the red in the Vectorscope. — If i increase the red output the image becomes more red and you can also see the red in the Vectorscope.

If i increase the green output the images becomes more green and you can also see the green in the Vectorscope. — If i increase the green output the image becomes more green and you can also see the green in the Vectorscope.

How to increase the Saturation with the RGB Mixer?

If i increase all three channels with the same value i increase the saturation of the image. Same color balance.

How to create a Black & White image with the RGB Mixer?

If i decrease the values of all color channels to zero, we get a desaturated black and white image.

How to create a negative image with the RGB Mixer?

If we decrease the three channels to -2 we get a negative balanced image.

How to Color Correct a Yellow Image with the RGB Mixer?

If we have an image that has to much yellow, what can we do?

To balance the yellow image we have to give the image more blue. So i increase the blue value and try to push the blue in the vectorscope towards the mid.

What if you need to push more of one Output Channel?

If you need more blue you can also push the other two channels from the Blue Output.

Bonus: What is the Skin tone Indicator?

The line you see in the Vectorscope is the skintone indicator.
