Why should you duplicate and create multiple revisions of your Timeline?

There could be a couple of reasons why you should do that. The main reason is for backup and time saving issues. For example you could create a duplicate of your Timeline and test something in the new timeline without destroying the old timeline.

Or let’s say you work with clients. You send him Version 1 (Or Revision 1) of your finished Video. Then he says: “Can you change that and that.”. You go back to your video change all the things and then send him the new video. Now he says… “Actually, i liked the old version better… can you go back to that one?”. – And now you are screwed, if you did not create multiple Revisions of your Timelines. So in that case you would always create a duplicate of the timeline and call the next one Rev. 2 (and so on). I think you get the idea.

I like to use Revisions. So in the end of my timeline name i add “Rev A” or “Rev B” and so on.
