How To Create ISO File on Mac
In this article/video i will show you how you can create an ISO File (Disk Image File) from a Folder on your Mac. You just need two steps that’s it.

Step 1: Create a CDR File with Disk Utility App






Step 2: Convert the CDR File into an ISO File using the Terminal App.
Command Line: cd ~/Desktop
Command Line: hdiutil makehybrid -iso -joliet -o ChangeName.iso ChangeName.cdr
What about just rename the .cdr into .iso?
Some articles i found suggested to just simply rename the File ending from .cdr to .iso. But don’t do this, this does not create a proper ISO File. To make a proper ISO File use the two steps above.
