Since DaVinci Resolve iPad Version 20 we also got a Custom Grid option for the Media Pool. With this option set you can freely move all your clips in the Media Pool and even stack the videos. This helps you organize your clips by creating clusters. Let me show you how this works.

How to turn on Custom Grid in Media Pool for DaVinci Resolve iPad?

The new Custom Grid only works with the Thumbnail View inside of the Media Pool. So make sure to first switch from List View to Thumbnail View.

To change to the Custom sorting change it where you normally would change all the sorting settings and choose "Custom".

Tip: The custom grid even stays like this in any page where you can open the Media Pool and change the setting to Custom.
