How to Enable the Metadata Palette in the Media Pool

When you’re in the Media Pool, you’ll see an icon at the top that lets you toggle the metadata palette on or off. This feature only appears when you’re viewing clips in the source view or source tape view, not when you’re in the timeline view.
What Information Does the Metadata Palette Show?

Once you activate the metadata palette, simply click on any clip in your media pool to see its information. The palette displays frame count, resolution (like 4K 3840×2160 or 1920×1080), frame rate, and other clip metadata.
This makes it easy to quickly check clip specs without having to switch between thumbnail and list view every time you need information.
This metadata palette is just one of many new features that came with DaVinci Resolve version 20 for iPad. There are a lot of other features that can make your editing work faster and easier. Check out the complete breakdown of all DaVinci Resolve 20 features to learn more.
