How To Use iPad as a monitor for your iPhone/Android Camera!

In this article i will show you how you can use your iPad as a remote monitor to control your iPhone or Android Camera using the newest feature of the Blackmagic Camera App. The Blackmagic Camera App is free, works on iPhone and Android and is from the same company that also created DaVinci Resolve. 1. First make sure you installed the latest Version of the Blackmagic Camera App

With the Blackmagic Camera App remote Control Feature i can see and control what my iPhone sees on my iPad.

Download the Blackmagic Camera App: iOS / Android

2. Activate the Remote Camera Control on iPad

On the iPad open the Blackmagic Camera App and navigate to the settings. The icon on the bottom right.

Go to the “Remote Camera Control” and toggle the Remote Camere Control on. Also we set this iPad to Use this iPad as “Controller".

3. Activate the Remote Camera Control on iPhone

On the iPhone open the Blackmagic Camera App and go to settings. Scroll all the way down and activate “Remote Camera Control” and change Use This iPhone to “Remote Camera”.

4. To see the Camera on iPad switch to the Camera

To see the iPhone Camera on the iPad, click on the little blue icon on the top left.

Make sure all devices are in the same network. Then you will see a list with all available devices. Simply activate the devices you want to see and control. You can also activate multiple cameras. I think up to 4 at once.

5. Now you can Control the Camera Remote on the iPad

Currently i only see one camera and can control everything from that camera. If i want to see multiple cameras on the iPad screen click on the blue icon again.
