How To ADD FONTS in DaVinci Resolve iPad!

In this article/video i will show you how you can add new Fonts to DaVinci Resolve for the iPad. This is the correct way of doing it with an Apple iPad, so that you can use the new Font even with DVR for iPad. Have fun learning.

Step 1: Get and download a new FONT on to your iPad

The website Dafont.com has a lot of free fonts you can use.

For this example i will download the Font called “RICHU MAST”.

I’m using the Google Chrome Browser on my iPad so after i click the Download Button there will be a little Pop Up on the Bottom of the Screen where i have to click Download again. After it is downloaded i can click on “Open in…”.

Step 2: Extract the ZIP File and copy it to the DaVinci Resolve Folder

This will open the Downloads Folder of the Apple iPad Files App. You have to unzip the ZIP File. Simply double tab the Zip File.

Then right click (or longer press) on the Folder and select “Copy”.

Now we are Navigating to the DaVinci Resolve Folder on the iPad and paste the Folder in the Fonts Folder. On My iPad\DaVinci Resolve\Fusion\Fonts

The Font Files that work on an iPad are the .ttf files. So make sure the fonts you want to use have a ttf version.

Step 3: How to use the new Font inside of DaVinci Resolve for iPad?

In DaVinci Resolve for the iPad add a Text+ Title to your Timeline. It will only work with the Title+.

Select the Title and open the inspector. Under Font you can now select the new added Font from the List. Done.
