In this Video i will show you the most important changes for DaVinci Resolve iPad with the new iPadOS 26 Update. We finally have the Menu Bar that is especially helpful for a big Software like DVR. There are a ton of Features that you can open straight from the Menu Bar. Let me show you what i mean.

Introducing the new DaVinci Resolve iPad Menu Bar with iPadOS 26:

When you use a bluetooth mouse or the magic keyboard trackpad and go to the top of the iPad window you will see the new menu bar that every app has.

Each App that you open on the iPad has his own Menu Bar. And what you can find there depends on the App. DaVinci Resolve is the same Software like on a Desktop, that’s why we got almost all of the Menu Items and Features that you find on a Desktop aswell.

Tip: We also got an updated mouse courser. Nice! And with the Menu Bar we can finally open the Keyboard Customisation window straight from the Menu Bar without using the shortcut (Option + Command + K). Of course the Shortcut still works.

Highlight: Ripple Delete Silence AI now finally works

With the iPadOS26 Updat the Feature introduced with DVR Version 20.2 called "Ripple Delete Silence" now finally works aswell.

Attention: Menu Bar only works in setting “Windowed Apps”

In the iPad Settings under Multitasking & Gestures the Menu Bar only works if you are on the "Windowed Apps" mode. When you switch to "Full-Screen Apps" the Menu does not work anymore.
