In this article/video i will show you how you can create and format individual words in the same text clip using the advanced Text+ Feature of DaVinci Resolve on the iPad. Basically how to customise text in DaVinci Resolve iPad. This is a must known technique for all Video Editors. Have Fun Learning.

Step 1: Instead of using different Text Clips we will just use one Text+ Clip

Add the Text+ to your Timeline and select the Clip and go to the Fusion Page.

Step 2: In the Fusion Page change to “Character Level Styling”

In the Inspector right click on an empty area and select “Character Level Styling”.

Step 3: Select the word you want to individually change the style

Change the mode to “Modifiers” and drag a box around the text you want to individually change.

Now change the parameters you wish to change. In my example i changed the font and the size.

Step 4: Repeat the same for the other words

Create a new selection box around the word or words you want to give a different styling and repeat.
