In this article i will show you a super simple and fast hack for the picture in picture mode of Final Cut Pro for the iPad, so that it makes your work with FCP on iPad easier.

How to enter the Picture and Picture Mode in FCP for iPad?

In the viewer window click on the little icon on the bottom left of the viewer. This will open some advanced settings for the viewer. To get the picture in picture mode simply click on “Picture in Picture”.

The problem with the Picture and Picture window is that it only can sit in one of the 4 corners of the screen. But there it can actually hide some of your settings.

The Hack: How to keep the Viewer where you want

The hack i found: Float your window somewhere on the screen and then swipe with two fingers and lat go of the window. This will tag the window on that position.

Update with new FCP iPad Version
